Sorry David I did not give a replay untill now. I was mounting the catalytic converter on my GTS. I had to do a ride with handicapped people last weekend so there was no time for computers. It was not in a bad shape but only the connection tubes and clamps for the pipes were gone. Those parts are not stainless steel and do rust fast. My friend did made a good repair job and now the compleet cat unit is stainless steel (Exept the 2 mounting points). The price is indeed about 1400 euro's for a new one in Holland. So the tubes are repairable if you find someone who can repair stainless steel and can make the new tubes in the right size. Or may be a GTS group buy? I did not complete understand and followed the messages about the "Renegade" solution Daren talked about.
