I've got a new "strange problem" for the list. I just got back from a trip, running 75 - 85 MPH true speed (GPS) almost all superslab. Most of the time, when I got back on the highway after a stop the oil light would come on after 1 mile, stay on for 8 - 10 miles, then go off. This was irregardless of whether the oil was completely full or down slightly (if it was down enough, the light would stay on). It was not related to RPM. Sometimes, if I shut the ignition off, then back on the light would go out, sometimes it stayed on.
Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone had a problem with the oil level sensor? Bill
