Weird as it sounds, I have a stainles throttlemeister on the right and a stock bar end weigth on the left (that way when I bought it) on Heli bars. I've never noticed any difference in vibration.
I set the throttlemeister just tight enough to offset the return spring, then I can adjust the throttle for hills without have to hold it all the time. I don't know if this is possible with the VC or not. Are you sure you don't mean stainless? Which ones did you get - standard or heavy? If heavy, how did there weight compare to that of the stock bar ends? - Walt -----Original Message----- From: GTS-1000 Owners List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Tom Sheraden Sent: Wednesday, September 04, 2002 3:15 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Throttlemeisters Okay, I'll admit it... I bought a Throttlemeister because I wanted a throttle lock and I thought Throttlemeister's billet aluminum looked cool. While it does the job, it is, in my opinion, not as easy to use as a VistaCruise... but it looks so good! -ts --- Daren <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I agree with Joe.
