I would think that a flat spot on a smaller radius profile would make for
worse handling than on a larger radius profile tire. In any case I can't say
I've noticed much deterioration in handling from a rear tire flat spot.
Maybe I don't do enough straight road stuff to get a very big flat spot. In
my experience a worn front affects handling infinitely more.
