I thought that Vanity was a girl's name? "Vanity plates" are not allowed in the Netherlands. The plate belongs to the verhicle. The same letter/number combination is on the paperwork that also belongs to one particular verhicle. The sizes, special marks and colors of the plates are regulated by the law for every kind of verhicle. Anyway, readable "SIDECARMANIAC" wouldn't fit to my little plate ;-)
I guess it must be possible to get a fluorescing blue collored plate when I could convince the authorities that my outfit is in use as a taxi (cab). Mmmm,...could make some extra money with that option ;-) John Dreuning "Sidecarmaniac" The Netherlands http://home.planet.nl/~dreuning Also webmaster of the Dutch sidecarclub "Het Derde Wiel"; http://www.hetderdewiel.nl "Crisler, Jon" wrote: > Anybody else got vanity plates besides John L and myself ?
