Not considered a vanity plate in NC (and doesn't cost as much a year either) but some may consider it that way.
N4PQX/M - (amateur radio plate on my GTS) Bob B. ps it was the first amateur radio plate issued for a motorcycle in NC according to the DMV person responsible for these plates (which require proof of FCC license).
