JB Weld is an epoxy type glue used for fixing metal parts, and seems to have a following in the auto repair industry. I personally have never used it, but as long as the temps are below about 300 F it should work ok. (I am not exact on that temp..., but you cannot use it on cylinders or heads of an engine).
