While it's true that the bike's have dropped in value, remember the 'good ol' days' when you could buy one (here in California) for $6,999 brand new (in 1996), in the box!!
Many dealers were advertising this special in the Los Angeles Times newspaper "back then", and they would assemble the monster for $500 additional. Not a bad price now that I think of it... Should have picked up a couple, eh? Leland
