I listen to an Apple iPod using a set of Collett mini-blaster speakers. I use two Boostaroo amplifiers in series to pump up the signal. I get reasonable sound and fidelity, except when the boostaroo batteries get low, then there is some distortion and clipping. The best thing, for me, is that it is cheap and decent. Autocom is the best system out there, from what I hear, but it is out of the range of a poor public sector employee. :-) See the URL above for the speakers and www.boostaroo.com for the amplifiers.
