300 miles, including the park, at altitude, is a long day, from
my previous trips in that area. I've also seen the Park, but for
those that haven't, the slow speed limit/traffic on the weekends
and the urge to stop a lot and gaze, will add a lot of time, for
a few miles. I'd rather see a bunch of GTS's at the top of Mt.
Evans, the highest paved road in the US, and what a view. Estes
Park is north and Pikes peak is south, and a short hike for a
real 360 degree open view.
