No, that would be a bulldozer blade surface feature.

Tricky. The language in VE sounds like an excavator, but my description
is closer to a track loader (i.e. no turret).

No sane amount of DR will resist a 25-ton rock. It will have to take
the hit on HPs.

Traveller has a large number of oxygen worlds with somehow tainted
atmospheres. I doubt the work force would be TL7 on a world without
oxygen.

Nobody would use such a massive bulldozer solo. Except for my GM, who
couldn't tell me WHY he needed the vehicle without massive spoilers.
So I designed it for a major government-sponsored civil engineering 
project. The vehicle next week is closer to what he really needed.

I think of it as demanding careful and regular maintenance. Fine quality
is too expensive and the only other way to boost HT is to lower the Lwt.
