Oh, I believe in climate change. Let me repeat my position in 
slightly different words: Not ALL cause-and-effect mechanisms
are known (and neither are the emergent properties of the 
entire system known exactly).

Yes.

Climate change is as well proven as earth science findings 
can ever be. Which is less than the level of proof you get 
in geometry, say. Scientists should make this distinction
whenever statistical methods are involved, and state the 
(fairly small) uncertainty in their findings.

I would bet my pension savings on climate change being real. 
I'm not sure if I would bet my life.
