Would the Atlanteans want the survival of the Allies dependent
on a group the Allies barely know? And are they training them 
up gradually to accept this?

How about an universal mount for the cannon, then?

I'd want two medium-range sets, a platoon circuit and a 
company circuit, on all vehicles. Command tracks can 
get another one.
