Another: you have to be _nice_ to passengers. You can't walk around with power armour and plasma rifles. I think that if I were running a game in this sort of setting I'd look at PCs as one particular subset of the crew - _maybe_ the bridge crew, but maybe instead the black gang working on the engines or the stewards on Deck 7.
