Hello Johannes,

the true killer is trying to frame Ingrun, right? So he or she
would go the extra mile to make sure that there are witnesses
who see what they're supposed to see -- a figure who looks a
bit like Ingrun, but not close enough to see the differences.

But that must not endanger the mission. So the killer will try
to sneak in, make a silent kill, and then deliberately stumble
and alert people on the way out.

If the kill was silent, the killer could even catch a breath
and arrange the evidence before he makes the "noisy break-in".

Why is that a problem? Say there are half a dozen people who
swear that they had recognized Ingrun in her arena armor. If
they're asked how they can be sure that it was Ingrun, they
will come back to the armor. The right plume, the right
weapon, must have been her. You could even throw in some
sort of fanboy who will claim that her fighting style when
she cut her way out was typical for her.

Re clues, how many women who could mirror her fighting style?
Has one gone AWOL?

Is Helga a player character or a non-player character?

Regards,
Onno
