Yes, but also more interesting. One would have to take numbers into
account -- is the more expensive suit so much better to justify the
price hike? Of course the comparison would depend on many unknowns
like ROE, terrain, tactical situation, ...

On a flat tabletop plain, can the heavier suit shoot the lighter
suit with impunity? Or does the lower SM cancel any improvement
in sensors or targeting?

In a maze of crooked back alleys, can the lighter suit fight the
heavier suit on even terms? Or does the heavier armor tell?

If your suits are a quarter of the price of mine, can four suits
swarm one? How many casualties do you expect in that case?

What happens when you assign a nominal pricetag to a trained
trooper, not just to the hardware? How high should it be?

If you want a more direct comparison:

The TL8 suit is Ewt 1,500 lbs. plus 180 lbs. for the operator,
20 lbs. and 1 cf cargo, and 300 lbs. fuel and ammo. $374,510.
Sealed, but with an air-breathing engine. Endurance 24 hours.
Not flight capable.

The TL10 suit is Ewt 1,750 lbs. plus 180 lbs. for the operator,
20 lbs. and 1 cf cargo, 50 lbs. ammo. The Ewt includes five rE
cells for the weapons. $594,480. Sealed. Endurance 12 hours.
Not flight capable.

Onno
