Here is what I have come up with to date:
Book Sense Mispronounced word list:
characters is charactaws
Interest is inpist
October is Octo boo
Labor is laboo
Corp. is copration
Any word beginning with "inter" is mispronounced:
The "er" is always dropped.
Any word starting with "after" has the "er" dropped, as:
Afternoon is aft noon
We all hope that the pronounciation dictionary get some help in an update!

I'm sure those of us on this listserv can create a short list of
words that the present Book Sense speech synthesis does badly. Here
are a few that I have noticed that are regularly mangled. I hope
these fixes can be put in the next release.

Interested
and US dollars being read as Australian dollars
