It sounds like it might be your individual unit. I've only had the
motor or machine gun thing happen with one book. I've never used
Audible.com, and am not sure that I will ever get around to it, but I
don't have a problem very often with my unit picking back up with NLS books.
Maybe you should insist on another Booksense.
