I think the reason the stream doesn't do this, it has no clock.

i know. somehow the stream has it set so when it is turnned back on the
battery level doesn't change. any way of making the booksense work like

and then a few days turn it on and the battery stays at the same point it
was when you turn it off. currently, when you turn it off and then turn
it on later, the battery goes down slightly or more depending on when you
last used it. this problem goes for all gw hardware products well,
