My suggestion for you and others if you are still not clear on why the
battery drains, is to give us a call or write [email protected]. There
is no other way we can really state this more clear as far as I know.
The battery of the BookSense, like any other battery will drain over
time. The BookSense has a clock battery to help keep the time, but this
does not mean that the regular BookSense battery won't drain. The reason
it has a clock battery is to help keep the clock time. So even if you
remove the regular battery, when you put it back in, you will notice
that your clock is still on time. We don't want to split hairs and we
don't want to get more technical on this. So as I mentioned, if you or
others still have questions about the battery, please take this off list
and write us directly.

If what Raul said is true, that the clock uses a separate battery, then I do
not see how what Robert says can also be true, that the battery runs down
because of the clock.
I for one, am a bit confused at the moment; so I don't think the discussion
