A good example is I have mine set to play ascending tones every 2 percent. So, when I copy a file, it sounds really cool. I have the check box set to not speak the percentage so all I hear is the tones. For the marquee bars, I changed the text to say Please wait instead of progressing or whatever the default is.

many thanks.

Jamie,

Also, I'm not sure if you or others realize this yet but most scripts are very configurable. The Progress Indicator is a good example of this. For example if you go to the WE 7.0 file menu and select M for Manage Sets and Scripts and from this pull down press M again for the Script Manager dialog. In this dialog you'll be on the listview of all scripts. Get on the ProgressIndicate script and press alt-H for help and options. Here you see a wealth of options you can setup for how you want the script to indicate progress bar information.

Enjoy!

Regards,
Doug

First the comments.

I have long had problems with Eloquence on my system with Window-Eyes. About
45 minutes into the new beta, I am having no problems.

I really like the new progress indicators. I have wanted them for a long
time and I wanted to be the first to post a positive comment about them
before someone else complains because they are there. (smile)

I like the index announcements such as when arrowing through my list of
feeds in IE 7. (e.g. GW Micro Latest News RSS Feed new 3 of 5.)

I really like the ability to stop instantly with any key when doing a read all. I see that I stop exactly where I left off instead of being a ways down
the page.

Now for the question and I think I already know the answer but will ask to
be sure:

In order to take advantage of the new functionality of Winamp and Skype, do
I need to go to Script Central and download the latest scripts for those
applications?

Thanks.
