I support the notion of including the scripts for the most common
applications by default.

Good enough, that you will have to download some extra scripts. But that
demands you being connected to the Internet. not EVERY LIVING person has
an internet connection, or at least not a stable one. That's why, I second
the idea of including a good load of them on the CD when the final version
is here. But, I also second the idea of including the most common ones,
like messenger etc.

I would suggest as and when 7.0 ships all the scripts should be put on the
installation CD if the user wants he can install it, similar to what is
there with SET files at this time.

yeah. and also the other advantage of getting the scripts yourself is that
unlike with the shark, you can choose what scripts you want to have
installed. If you don't want any, you don't need to have any at all. and
if you want a whole ton, you can get them yourself. If gw included them,
this would make the window-eyes download pretty bloaded or puffed up like
a water balloon.

We thought about what scripts to include by default and came up with a
basic set, however adding the other ones which are up on script
central are easy to do. This way the users can get experience in
downloading and installing scripts.
