What about the payment plan? If I go on the payment plan today, do I get an
upgrade, or do I have to start all over again when the new version comes out

If you have an SMA right now, as in you have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 19
upgrades reminaing, then it will use up one sma hit to go from 6.1 to 7.0
and you pay nothing extra because you already have an sma.
Now, if you don't have an sma and you want to save on the upgrade cost
from 6.1 to7.0, the cost for the sma is $299.00. If you get this sma
before we release 7.0, one of the 3 sma counts will be used to purchase
the upgrade. If you wait until after 7.0 comes out then you will have to
pay $175 to upgrade to 7.0, then $299 to buy the sma which will be good
for the next 3 upgrades after 7.0.
In short, if you have zero sma counts, and you want to save money, then
get an sma before we officially release 7.0. Then one of your newly
purchased 3 sma counts will be used and you will not need to pay an
additional $175.

To write scripts, you need to know a scripting language such as VBScript
or JScript. The ability to write these scripts are already in your PC,
so just fire up notepad or your favorite text editor and hack away.
