Get real. I have subscribed to this list to hear information about how
to
make my window-eyes experience better. Not to listen to a whole lot of
hopeless rants about what I would do if it were me, lets get together and
do
this, lets sign a virtual petition and show them. Again I say get real.
None of this will win a lawsuit for GW Micro. GW Micro will win a
lawsuit
with lawers and evidence that they have not infringed copyright, not by a
whole lot of people on an info list shouting about how bad Freedom are.
Lets get back to the purpose of this list and let the people who know
what
they are doing get on with what they have to do. I'm not setting up
rules
or deleting threads of e mail because you want to rant. If thats what
you
want to do then open a blank word document and write to yourself about
how
bad the World is. That way noone else had to suffer the torture of
listening to the same e mail continuously on this information list!
By the way. If you ask any lawyer about the effectiveness of a petition,
they will tell you not to bother.

Well, we did hear one GW Micro comment already on this or another thread
concerning their position so far. Jerrimie said he was at the AER
conference and they could not comment there. There's probably a "no damn
discussion" order going on. Also, for those on the list who have
problems
with this extra trafic, remember that most mailers do have the ability to
delete entire threads. So yes, the mail volume has gone up and many of
us
are probably venting our feelings at best; if you don't wanna read it
all,
delte the whole thread when it comes up and that help you out quite a
bit.
Just keep to the stated subject of the message so the thread accurately
reflects the subject.
