I've noticed this, but this is not to say I don't like Window-Eyes. In fact,
there are things that Window-Eyes can do a whole lot better than JAWS,
particularly with Microsoft Office products. JAWS has very good support, but
Window-Eyes is better, because, I believe, it relies on the document object
model (DOM), not the off screen model (OSM) that JAWS relies on. Just my
observations.

Subject: Very General Observations
Hi,
This message is in no way meant to be controversial. I am coming to
Window-Eyes as a died in the wool JAWS user, so please take that into
account.
I am finding that everything about Window-Eyes reaction time to key
presses
is much more sluggish than it is with JAWS. For example, I can very easily
out-type the speaking of characters with Window-Eyes. With JAWS, the
characters are voiced immediately.
Perhaps I can do something to make things snappier though and I haven't
run
into it.
Thanks.
