Hi, I've been lamenting this for 3 years or more now, and spent tens
of hours trying to get it to work, but it just will have none. Soon
it will be impossible to buy a 32 bit OS. Not tomorrow, but maybe as
early as this time next year. None of the competition is making
strides toward 64 bit either as far as I know. Even NVDA is compiled
for 32 bit, though it should fly very nicely on a 64 bit os.
We might be switching platforms to get current spec very soon. I know
I love my 64 bit intel macbook, and I'm going to download another
ubuntoo image if there is an update to see if they fixed the bug in
the installer of the last one I got. I'm already advocating switch
from windows, although it's not for every one. We'll be forced into
it though if we don't get 64 bit access soon.
