Using an antiquated operating system does not necessitate using an ill-equipped e-mail client.

While I agree with you and Bruce, some may be relegated to using an old antequated operating system for economic reasons.

Subject: RE: can the list serv eliminate the html coding?

 Ray and all,
I am against this as well. If one is using a modern machine and a
 credible
E-mail program, they should be able to set the options for how to read
E-mail messages, either in HTML, plain text, or Word.

I further agree with Bruce that we should not be penalized because some
people fail to use a more functional E-mail package and don't want to
modernize. Windows '98 is way out of date and not even supported anymore.

Thanks and I hope the list administrators leave well enough alone.
