One of the options in the script manager is enabling a disabled script.
Focus on that choice, and you will see it when a script is in a disabled 
state.
I just tried this with that autocomplete script enabling it again and 
afterwards disabling it.
Note that this thread began discussing this very script; and with 
following Darrell's step by step directions, I stopped it from running 
(disabling it) and now could quickly turn it back on.
So you can have your scripts and eat it too, so to speak.
The unload option will remove your script.

What I will most likely do is create a back-up folderof scripts that I've 
downloaded just in case a script gets accidentally removed from the 
system.
