Hi, There are a few different keyboard layouts, depending on manufacturer. Most of the time, its one of the top right keys. Fortunately, if ins is pressed, it usually says "insert".

I was looking through the laptop keystrokes for window-eyes and it is talking about the insert key. Is the insert key maped to anything in particular such as the caps key for instence or what? I am getting a olaptop soon and want to learn the laptop key layout. If someone can help in this matter it would be greatly apprisheated. Thanks.
