Laptops have an Insert key. Sometimes it's not as conveniently
positioned as the one on the number pad though.

On my Thinkpad, the Insert is at the top of the keyboard and is
reasonably accessible, depending on other keys to be pressed in
combination. However, just above the space bar, very conveniently
placed, is the rarely used middle mouse button. I therefore wrote an
AutoHotkey script to remap the middle mouse button to the Insert key.

Hi, Thanks, I should be getting my laptop soon so I will have to
play arround with it some. I wonder why they call it the laptop
layout if you still have to use the insert key for moste keystroke?
