Hello. When we talk about the insert key, we are talking about, you guessed it, the insert key. This is not the caps lock key, the shift key, or the f3 key. Just good-old insert key. the location of this key is different on various laptops. Also, if using the fn key which on most laptops is located in the bottom left corner of the keyboard, or the button next to it on the right, then the letter m becomes the numberpad-0/insert key.

We don't remap any keys so again, insert is just insert.

Hi every one.

I was looking through the laptop keystrokes for window-eyes and it is
talking about the insert key. Is the insert key maped to anything in
particular such as the caps key for instence or what? I am getting a
olaptop soon and want to learn the laptop key layout. If someone can help
in this matter it would be greatly apprisheated.
Thanks.

Matthew
