With the new way that window-eyes is installed, your default directory is not in the window-eyes folder. You need to have \users\default In the window=-eyes directory on the pendrive. You could check and see if it still exists on your hard drive by Choosing run from the start menu and typing "%appdata%" (not the quotes and the percent signs. Arrow down to GW Micro, and press enter Window-Eyes and press enter Users and copy this folder to your pen drive. This users folder should contain Your default folder and Users.ini. Hope this helps, Jeff Weiss -----Original Message----- From: Olusegun -- Victory Associates LTD, Inc. Hi Everyone: I installed Window-Eyes 7.0 on a Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit machine. Then upgraded to Window-Eyes 7.01! I then copied Wevideo70.exe from the Window-Eyes CD and placed it in the same program folder in which Window-Eyes Mobile resides. This folder incidentally is called Window-Eyes by default. Then I deleted Window-Eyes off the hard drive on which I had installed it. Installed the Wevideo70.exe video support from the Flash Drive. I rebooted the computer as directed, but when I proceeded to LAUNCH Window-Eyes Mobile which in my case was DriveG, I get the following: "Can't find user directory ... exiting!" Again, I performed these actions under Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. My questions are: Why couldn't I run Window-Eyes Mobile 7.01 from DriveG? Is there a new WeVideo Support Driver set for Window-Eyes 7.01? I trust that I explained this clearly enough, and I will be most grateful for whatever help I can get to STRAIGHTEN this out.
