If you think $20 is a lot of money for a cd, try going to Microsoft and
asking for replacement media for anything. The last time I checked it was
$40 per media replacement package. I really don't think $20 is an out of
the ordinary price or one that is so high to be a significant issue.

I noticed that GW will once again be requiring purchase of a disk if one
wishes to upgrade to a 64-big Vista. This raises a question, and it's a
throwback to when GW supported Vista. At that time, GW also required
that Window-Eyes users purchase a disk for the "free" update to Vista.
This was necessary, users were told. Yet one can easily download what is
touted as a fully-functional demo of Window-Eyes, which is
Vista-compatible. Why was a disk required for the final product but not
for the demo? Is the same reasoning, whatever that may be, applicable
with64-bit support? How much of the money is for the disk, how much for
shipping, and how much for "handling"?--D.K.
