ok Jim; I will try the focus control script. Although, I have tried pressing the tab key, and it has not helped. Wouldn't pressing the tab key do the same thing as the focus control script, although perhaps it would take more keystrokes if you had to make your way through a lot of controls?
In my case, the only control I have which is able to be reached via the tab key is (should be) the list of messages (which you said was a reclassed table view). What message do you hear when you have your problem with 2007? I hear something like "no text selected" as I try to up/down arrow and press the tab key; however, if I press the enter key, I will open a message. thanks.
