this subject has debated on this list, before. When traffic is
light, reply to all might be ok. For newer people, I can see where
reply to all would be good. But, overall, I myself think the list is
configured right and I believe it meets most users needs. I think
reply too all would generate way too much traffic, especially, when a
new version comes out.

Hi GW,
I would like to request a reconsideration in the list policy which
directs replies to the author, instead of to the list.
It does make having a conversation which may benefit others much
harder, and if I forget and send a reply to the author only, I don't
always bother to resend it to the list.
I think the list is a wonderful customer support option, and I hope
it saves you guys some work. I'm hoping this change will mean more
information will end up on the list.
