Hello. I could be wrong, but i believe that since the default search
engine with Firefox is Google, you would need to set a preference in
google to not auto-auggest things when you type in any edit box. This
would require you to enable cookies however.

i am haveing the problem of browse mode turning back on every time i try
to type text in edit boxes. with fire fox 3 x
the newest place is with the search box for ebay.com, paypal, wells
fargo bank.
i can press enter on the edit box to turn off browse mode and do nothing
and browse mode will stay off until i start typeing a search word. then
browse mode will reload. it is doing this over and over again and i can
not complete the search frase.
suspend all refresh is on, i even turned off auto load and it still
reloads. i tried useing the default wineyes.000 set file with fire fox
with the same results.
help please.
