I'm a long time mainframe programmer (cobol believe it or not) and I use attachmate extra 3270 version 7.11.
I'm slowly weaning myself away from jaws since it seems to be growing ever more instable. And for almost every application I use, I've made the switch to WE. However, with extra WE seems not to be able to locate the cursor. I have always used a blinking underline with jaws but I have tried all other cursor settings with We and it cannot find the cursor. Does anyone use extra with We, what version, and how did you configure WE to operate properly? Have any of you had better luck with a different terminal package?
