Pat,

I've seen complaints that on some computers, when they go to sleep or
hibernation, window eyes does stop working.  that's not the case with my
2 laptops however.

in any case, you should be able to stop your netbook from going to sleep
by using the control panel, power options, and finding the choices for
what it should do after X number of minutes of inactivity, and disabling
that.  as I recall there are separate choices for when it's running off
a/c and when off of battery.
