Hi, Pat I've got the Acer Aspire One rather than the Inspiration 1 but, assuming things are the same...after having gone into sleep mode, from memory, pressing the escape key brings you back out with WE working okay - at least on mine, anyway!

Every time I turn it on, and if I don't do anything for a little while, I find that it wants to go into some kind of hibernation mode, or it goes to sleep, can't be sure which one it is doing.
