the trouble with waiting is that there is always something just about to be released, any day now, that's worth waiting for. you'll never be able to buy anything that way.
I think it's better to admit that xp is gone, and you'll be buying vista or windows 7, and learning them isn't a big deal; we've got many people on this list running vista.
