Right, me either, and I've let GW know this.  I'm also seeing the problem in
html based books and help files; that is, browse mode is not automatically
being enabled when I switch to a page of text, as it used to do with IE 7 (I
believe html help shares components with IE).

Folks, here's the flea-covered elephoant in the room:  I don't have the same
problems with System Access or JAWS.  That's not saying that those screen
readers are superior.  They most decidedly are not.  It just says that I
don't have the same browse mode (forms mode) whatever you want to call it
issues I do with 7.01.
