Hi Eric:
You are right.  Window-eyes does support Remote Desktop and it
supports it very well.
I know this because for several years, now, I have been able to log
into my office computer and work from home.  In fact, due to health
reasons, I only go into the office one day a week and do the rest of
my work from home, all because of Window-eyes' support for Remote
Desktop and a piece of software which allows me to log onto our
telephone system.
