But since there isn't an extra cost for window-eyes professional it
still works out cheeper. And then you can log on to any system. Not
only systems that have jaws, but systems that have no screen reader at
all, or system access, or nvda, oor even narrater in a pinch. So I
still think the approach of making remote desktop accessible wins for
cost vs versatility.

Of course, both systems need to be running xp pro or vista business,
so there is an aditional cost.

Hi Eric:
You are right. Window-eyes does support Remote Desktop and it
supports it very well.
I know this because for several years, now, I have been able to log
into my office computer and work from home. In fact, due to health
reasons, I only go into the office one day a week and do the rest of
my work from home, all because of Window-eyes' support for Remote
Desktop and a piece of software which allows me to log onto our
telephone system.

Sorry Ray, My impression was that Window-eyes has suppored remote
desktop in windows since xp and we4.5. I might be way off base
herer
never having played with it, but this seems a better approach to me
than making another whole propietary system that forces you into the
most expensive screen reading package on the market to do the same
job.
Some one can correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Eric:
I'd disagree with you a bit here. Window-Eyes doesn't have
anything
that
rivals JAWS Tandem. I'm a loyal Window-Eyes and GW customer for
