I am late in replying, but install quick mix, a utility which you can
use to recall parameters you set up in volume control, where that
check box is not muted. If you need me to send it to you, honestly,
it is small enough where most servers will not complain about it. The
utility will make as many configurations as you wish to have with
different settings in volume control, or, even using different sound
cards. I use it to recall settings when I am recording, or editing
sound files, or just talking over the net, different environments for each.

is where you find it.

Does anyone know if there is a keystroke to turn the mute function of
windows on and off? For some reason, the mute box periodically checks
itself and my computer goes silent and I have to have someone who can see go
through the menus and uncheck the mute box.
