I was not trying to say that they were going to brake it just that I can not afford to buy a new computer and this is my only one.

Have you ever asked GW Micro what would happen if something happened
with your computer?

If something happens with it in shipmant it's up to the carrier.

I have sent 3 different machines to GW Micro over the years to have them
find and fix bugs in window-eyes. never has there been an issue and
they have returned my machines promptly and with the issues resolved.

Thank you for letting me know that I am not the only one with this problem. I would let GW-Micro borrow my computer but I would want an agreement that if any damage is don to it while in there hands that they would replace it and that they would pay shipping. I know that this not going to happen so I hope they find someone who is welling to take the risk of losing their computers.

Mine starts in my tower that had 98 in it and has xp now in it, but it won't start with my laptop that has vista in it, no matter what I do. I have heard it said on the list that GW knows about this problem, but that they can't duplicated it on any of their systems in the lab. They say they want to borrow somebody's computer that has the problem to see how to fix it. I'm just afraid to send mine. One thing that I have been hearing, though, is that people seem to be having the problem more after upgrading to 7.11, and I am not sure, but it doesn't seem that it necessarily is only computers with vista any more. I guess, surprisingly, I am one of the lucky ones with this tower. But I'm not lucky in other instances. I keep having to refresh the screen, and also, it keeps freezing so that I have to push the off button. That makes my security suite go crazy. Pam. ----- Original Message ----- From: Juan Gonzalez

  Good Morning
First I have an old problem that I had not mentioned before because I thought it would be solved in Window-Eyes 7.11 but that was not the case. My problem was that even though I have Window-Eyes setting to start after log on for every user it will not start after log on. Can anyone concur with me on this one? I have to do the hot key Alt+Ctrl+w to open Window-Eyes. I understand this is not a big problem but it is a problem none the less. Also today when I started Window-Eyes or my computer and Window-eyes still did not start, I pressed the hot key to start Window-Eyes and nothing happened. I had to click on my desktop and press w hoping I only had one w program on it and that it was Window-Eyes. Once I press this Window-Eyes started working. Has anyone had this or these problems before. One last thing is that when I am working with a PDF file and I put it in full screen view and then I press ESC. To get out of it. It will take Window-Eyes a while to respond back. The hot key for getting PDF files into full screen view is Ctrl+l and to move through the pages is left and right clicks. Left is to go forward and right is to go backward in case someone wants to try it. Note Left and right click only works when you are in full screen view. Finally, so far these and the internet explore problems about maximization are the only problems I have found so far. These aren't major problems so great job GW-Micro and hopefully these get solved soon. Running Windows Vista 32 bit and running
the latest version of adobe reader. thanks!
