Guys,

I'm one of those old farts, too. But when we went to college, we used different
methods of getting our crap together, and they were planned for in advance.
System failures occurred, but most of the time the failure was a reader/person,
not a one-only device, like a computer. Not too many of those alternatively
available at any given time for most of us.

Not to mention that if you did have a reader they weren't always reliable.

Juan,

I run WE 7.11 on several Vista Ultimate equipped computers, both desktop and
notebook. I am not experiencing lock-ups.

Your post made me smile though. Your reference to taking final exams while not
having a reliable computer to download study guides is hilarious. When I was a
student at MIT, thru the entire 3 years that it took me to graduate, I didn't
have a single accessible book, never mind a reliable computer. I didn't have an
unreliable computer or study guides either. All of our exams at MIT were "open
book", which was fine when you had a book to open; which I didn't. Kids going
to college nowadays don't know what us older farts went thru. We didn't have
offices of Disabled Students either. You showed up on campus each September and
either sank or swam on your own, and without anything more than readers, if you
were lucky.

Okay I don't know about anyone else but I am getting really sick of these lock
ups that window-eyes is performing. What is going on. I am trying to get ready
to go into finals and I can't even download a study guide without window-eyes
locking up. I am not liking this new window-eyes 7.11. I hope GW-Micro is doing
something about this because I need to get things done quickly. It is already
hard for us to do something that a person with cite can and we do not need it to
be harder because our technology that is suppose to help is making it worse.
Come on GW-Micro don't slack on us now.
