Well, I don't use outlook express too much so can't speak to that,
but your astute observation is just about how it is in the adaptive
arena for us, much as we like we, it just don't do everything we wish
it would, neither does jaws, so that's exactly the reason I have both
screen-readers.
I love them both, and hate them both for different reasons.
Good luck.

Hi Everyone:
Over the last few weeks, I've been doing a side-by-side comparison
of WE with JFW. Using JFW on a friend's computer since I don't have
a copy, I SUCCEEDED IN COMPLETING MY TAX RETURNS using TaxAct
Online. I had NO PROBLEMS finding and PRESSING <enter> on the
CONTINUE BUTTON as needed.
When I finished doing my tax returns, I only used sighted help to
read the displayed characters that I had to TYPE INTO THE FORM to
authenticate that I am NOT A ROBOT, <smile>! All in all, I was
pretty pleased with the experience.
I had tried to use H&R Block with NO SUCCESS playing with both
screen readers. But TaxAct Online WORKED VIRTUALLY FLAWLESSLY with JFW.
In my work though, I can't use JFW because JFW is NOT ABLE to read
correctly the web portal that I must use for submitting claims to the payer.
I am still running Windows XP Professional and using Outlook Express
to read and write EMail. With JFW, I can actually READ THE ADDRESS
appearing in the "TO" field or the "FROM" field. Not so with WE. I
wonder why that is the case? Is there something in WE that I need
to TWEAK to gain access to these fields?
If I could RAKE UP the funds, I think I might seriously consider
purchasing a copy of JFW and use both screen readers interchangeably
since NO ONE screen reader seems to FIT THE BILL.
Sincerely,
Olusegun
