I have Outlook 2007 which works pretty well eexcept it doesn't always play my sound when mail arrives.
Outlook 2003 works well. I used to have it.
With Outlook 2003 you can pick your html editor where in Outlook 2007 it is word. The only other thing about Outlook 2007 is that it won't open up .eml files, which are able to be opened in Outlook 2003.
I have been trying to find a fix for this.
I sent you that link a while ago about how to put Windows Mail on a Windows 7 machine so it would work, but I haven't tried it as I don't have a second drive in case something gets messed up.

Subject: email for win 7?

hi,
i am getting very fustrated. trying to find a email client that is as good as windows mail.
none compare to it yet.
live mail is so so
but i still can't get the hang of ribbon menus in the live mail beta for windows 7. i can find many of them but i can't activate any of the sub ribbons. i pressed enter on them, tried arrowing to see if they had more options, and tried clicking on them with the mouse and got nowhere.
thunderbird is so so.
i still don't know if messages are read or not. the columns still speak even when they are hidden. no thanks.
i tried postbox.
don't even download it. it completely disables w e 7.2 you can't even open the w e control panel to make changes and you can't stop if from raddlingg off a bunch of words i can't even find on the screen. it repeats over and over again , non stop when you try to setup a acount. pegasus mail. its great for the sighted. it has a lot of help info as you go through the verious menus but none of them speak without the mouse. it does not use browse mode for the messages and read to end will not work so you have to use the arrow keys to read the messages. so this ones out. i'm about ready to bit the bullet and buy outlook 2003 if i can find a full version on ebay. at least this version does not have ribbon menus.
