Chip,

One thing I would really love to have is a reliable means to pull an
imbedded image from a document and eather save it to a file or automagically
push it into an ocr software like kurzweil 1000.

Warm Regards.. Joe Lanier

Subject: anyone having difficulties with MS Word

Hi all,

many of you may know me as the author of the MS Word (and MS Office)
scripts.

sometime recently on another list, someone made a statement that "jaws
worked much better with Word than did windowEyes."

I informed them that I didn't believe this to be the case, largely due to
the 4 Word related scripts WE now has available to cover different areas of
accessibility and convenience functions.

I'd like to know if anyone is having any accessibility issues with Word,
that perhaps I could address in a script? Anything that could be said to
give the competition an advantage when using Word?

(I'm currently working on accessibility for text boxes and frames).

I know it sounds a little odd, but I don't use Word in the same
sophisticated way that many others do, and so I'm often not aware of various
advanced issues.

please go ahead and respond on list, so that others can comment on any
observations, problems, or questions.

thanks.

Chip
