Hi Chip and all

My question is laughably basic. I'm back with Word7 with the Microsoft
add on to open other document types, and the file name edit box in the
"Save as" dialogue has never read properly, by which I mean that the
whole thing reads if I tab to it, but I can't review the text with the
arrow keys, so I always have to write the whole file name since I can't
edit it. I'm sure this is fixable if I knew how to do it. Basic
guidance please.
